Einzigartig werden Kyle´s Kollektionen jedoch durch die meisterhaften Stickereien, die der junge Designer aus Glasgow auf den edlen Seiden-, Kaschmir- und Wollstoffen platziert. Der Central Saint Martins Absolvent bezeichnet sich selbst als „Sticker und Designer” und beherrscht sowohl die kreativ-schöpferische als auch die handwerklich-ausgefeilte Komponente seines Berufes so gut, dass das Couture-Haus Boudicca und auch Designerin Emma Cook bereits auf seine Stickkreationen zurückgriffen.
Ãœber seine Kreationen sagt Der 26-jährige Central Saint Martin´s Absolvent “BECAUSE I am an embroiderer there’s always quite an element of craft in my work. Then, when it comes to putting it into fashion, it’s all about strong girls. Everything has quite big shoulders, and I like it”. (Quelle). Ob die breiten Schultern seiner Entwürfe zwar nicht manchmal zu viel des Guten sind bleibt dahingestellt – ich persönlich habe mich in das oben gezeigte Fransenkleid verliebt und würde zu gerne einmal hineinschlüpfen.
