Julian heißt der Sommer bei Hui-Hui

Oh je, Overalls, Strick, Schmuck, Cut-Outs, Tücher, Print … so viel zu kucken.  Ein Mix & Match aus der stilistischen Fundgrube auf einen tragbaren Nenner zu bringen, das ist die Lieblingsdisziplin des Hamburger Labels HUI-HUI.
Hier der Sommer 2010. Der heißt bei Hui-Hui “Julian” und wurde fotografiert von Florian de Brün.

**UPDATE** Was es mit “Julian” auf sich hat, frei nach Hui-Hui:

“hui-hui pays a visit to the porcelain workshop. Spotless white and delft- blue, shades of grey, dusty pink and washed out colours. With the guts of a Julian Schnabel and the scissors at hand, the deconstruction starts.

Instead of generously spreading oilpaint over plates, wallpapaper and carpets we work the garments until its like rags from the painters atelier. Adverse to the wild exentricity

A dash of Chanel’s class and timeless elegance collaborates with the reduced aesthetic found in Japanese fabricbooks:contrasting ribbons, simple patterns and graphic prints . Cuts and holes, superlight-knit and a loose-fit suits the summer. But not without showing some skin – by cutting deep decolletés in the back and Sculpting the figure with corsage and bustierdress.
